Teaching
At the University of Pittsburgh (Pitt), I am focused on teaching courses that flourishing person as the central animating principle of the applied sciences particularly health sciences and engineering. As part of that project, I have developed and teach various “human flourishing” courses at Pitt including Happiness and Human Flourishing and Health Policy and Human Flourishing
In addition to human flourishing courses, I teach various health policy and research methods courses at Pitt Nursing.
To add, I am a faculty fellow at the Beatrice Institute which is an ecumenical learning and research community based in Pittsburgh that supports advanced inquiry in the Christian intellectual and cultural traditions.
